About me

My name is Miriam K, a second year Graphic Design student at Noroff, born in the 80’s. I am a seamstress with a passion for history, a drummer in the local brass band, creating comics as a hobby and now aspiring Graphic Designer. There are not enough hours in a day for all my passions!

I have, for as long as I can remember, liked to explore my many creative sides, anything from knitting and sewing to drawing, painting and music. The need to express my creative sides led me to pursue a career in dressmaking and completing a BA in Costume for screen and stage at AUB in Bournemouth, England. After working a few years within the industry, I decided to pursue other aspects of my creativity.

I currently work in special retail where I sell Bunader, the Norwegian traditional costumes, and guide our customers in the “how to” for crafting their own Bunad. In addition to my fulltime job and studies I started MiriamK design mid-2022.
