eljest


Eljest, a shoemaker renowned for redesigning street shoes, commissioned me to capture her footwear in a way that is both creative and visually striking. The images created for this campaign are designed to speak for themselves — after all, for a visually-driven audience, words often take a backseat.

This campaign will be featured across multiple platforms, including social media, Eljest’s website, quality magazines, posters, and billboards. Given the various uses, it’s crucial that the composition is adaptable to different orientations: landscape for websites, banners, and billboards; portrait for magazines and posters; and square for social media posts.

The concept behind the imagery is motion. Shoes, particularly streetwear, are built for movement. To capture this, I’ve incorporated elements like flowing streetlights at night, represented using PWL photography techniques. Additionally, the vibrant color orange, which is Eljest’s signature hue, plays a key role in symbolizing the energy and motion of the brand.
