Semester project 2
Social awareness campaign
The goal of this campaign was to raise awareness about domestic abuse where men are the victims, a topic that is often overlooked. The campaign’s primary objective was to inform the public about the various forms of abuse that men may endure, while focusing specifically on encouraging men to speak out about their experiences. Male survivors of abuse are severely underrepresented in reports, and only a small number seek help each year.
For this campaign, I developed a logo, posters, and a billboard, along with concepts for unique brand touchpoints to further amplify the message.
The campaign is named “Invisible” to reflect how men often experience their abuse — hidden and unseen. To make the message more impactful, I intentionally removed the “I” and “N” from the word, transforming “Invisible” into “VISIBLE” to emphasize the campaign’s purpose: to bring the issue into the light.
The slogan, “Break the Silence,” was chosen to underline the core message of the campaign — encouraging men to start talking about their abuse and break free from the silence surrounding it.
