Laksevåg

Laksevåg is the district in Bergen that has several areas with classic residential buildings of high architectural quality. Damsgården is one example of this and is the best kept wooden house from 18th century Europe. At Laksevåg you also find Kvarven fort, a coastal defense built in the end of 19th century.
For those that enjoy hikes, two of the seven mountains around Bergen is found here, Damsgårdfjellet and Lyderhorn.
